An irrational affection for Anne Heche

I liked the show. I do have an irrational fondness for Heche. She is funny and charming and sincere. And sometimes grating and batsh#t crazy. Cute and a darn good actress. Good cast, pretty well done...I'll watch!

Yes, same here. Reading previews of the show, I would have thought this was the worst thing ever to come down the lane, but I enjoyed the first two episodes quite a bit. More please. :)

I think I have an irrational fondness, too. I think she is bat sh!t crazy, and was beyond mean with her treatment of Ellen, etc, but I can't help watching and being interested whenever I catch one of her movies on TV.

I think I realized her unappreciated talent when I watched Six Days Seven Nights. Her chemistry with Ford reminded me of the old movies in the 30s and 40s. Not a great movie...but not because of Heche or Ford.

And, because of such irrational fondness, I think I have a kind of irrational forgiveness for her earlier wayward ways. She may have truly been battling some mental issues. Maybe we should say, good for her for getting her sh!t straightened out instead of permanently condemning her to the D List pile.

After two eps of this show, I really want to see more.

We liked this show too and we also watched Men in Trees. Anne Heche is funny, love 6 Days, 7 Nights, the scenes on the plane when she takes Xanax and the next morning, chemistry with Harrison Ford, cute. I guess Save Me was cancelled.

The show was more enjoyable than I expected, and I think that's because of Ann Heche. I, too, really like her as an actress, even though I doubt I would like her in real life. I really started appreciating her talent when she was in "Hung." She may be *beep* crazy and possibly a not-so-nice person, but she really is a terrific actress.

I'm six episodes in and still enjoying it.
It is a fairly subtle humor, not laugh out loud.
While I think both Joan of Arcadia and Wonderfalls did the concept better, this is not the horrible show both the Catholics and Atheists (how can both sides think it demeans them? I think they haven't actually watched the show for more than 5 minutes) make it out to be.

Check it out and decide for yourself.

In this last episode it really didn't seem like God was giving her a choice. Basically 'bombing' her mind until she gave in. Makes you wonder where free will fits into this show.
