...but with less drama. Has a similar feel to the comedic elements of "Desperate Housewives".

To me it seems like a mix of kind-of-"Desperate Housewives", "Samantha Who?" and "Eli Stone".
The setup and the overall episode seem a little forced and rushed but I do agree with those that say that the show is "cute". But compared to other sitcoms that I started watching and appeared "cute" and ended up being really interesting series (like "Suburgatory" and "Awkward.") it doesn't seem as strong.

My thoughts exactly, each episode seems rushed. I'm talking about the story... And that's probably because the show was cut from 13 episodes to only 7 up for airing. At least I hope that's why the show has that "rushed stories" feel.
It's an amazing show, however, the main character gives me life, haha! :) Shame it wasn't SAVEd, ironically.
