I would have to go with Cass as well. I mean just pay attention to everything about her: lush hair, gorgeous eyes, great figure, entertaining personality, and she is where a big portion of the movie's heart comes from.

Disney so obviously idealizes these characters from the 'personality' to the physical perfectness, possessing every desirable feature of babies and adults to make them 12 year olds with adulthood wisdom. It's ridiculous.
Yes there is. It juts reinforces, to the most impressionable, that pretty = good, something humans are already hard-wired into thinking but Hollywood just aggressively pushes it more. Kiddie films need to tell children every once in a while that a positive female character doesn't need to be a perfect 10 with an hour glass figure (even animals have this) to be likeable. I don't think that's too much to ask.
In that case it might be better if you just avoid all film and TV of the past, present and future. There have always been good looking characters, good and bad, that's not going to change any time soon.
Cass all the way. An independent business owner who lost her sister, cares for her children and still manages to go on after one of these children die? Thats pretty much one of the most badass things a person can do. Besides that (in animation terms) she is insanely hot.
...but they hung him anyway. Hanged, Ami. Your father was not a tapestry.

She was one of the more eye-roll lame 'perfect' characters.
I actually like to compare her to Mr. Ping from Kung Fu Panda. Think about it, they're both very lovable characters who love and deeply care for the main characters like a parent even though they're not theirs and they're both in the food business and passionate about it.
