Why did Joanna’s Mom Stop Working for the Bowers ?

Was that ever explained ?

reply

I think she left when julian and joanna got too close. she knows something.... i think robert is going to use it against her to find out more about Joanna.

reply

I think she may have actually did something and Robert helped her out and now he will use it over her head to find out information about Joanna's past and try to see what she's hiding.

reply

CeCe, I think so too. I think she was involved in the death of Robert's wife. Also remember when she came to the house and was talking to Robert. He offered her some alcohol and Joanna said it's not good idea. Yes, her mother is sick and taking pills with alcohol, not a good idea. I suspect that her mother has a drinking problem and Robert wanted to take advantage of that. Thank God, Joanna cam at the right time. I could be wrong.

reply

Silk, I agree, but I dont think Robert knew about Beverly being sick until she mentioned it and Joanna told her she shouldnt be drinking. Robert was tring to get her tipsy so he could get information. "Get her drunk..get her talking". I am glad too Joanna got there when she did. These next two episodes are going to be AWESOME!! While I am happy about Jolian I am also not looking forward to Julian finding out that Joanna has been lying to him all this time. This is definently be a game changer for him. I

reply

I agree CeCe, but when the day comes and Julian finds out that she lied, he will be crushed but not as much as he will be towards Audrey. We will see rage ( like in the promo, when he kicks her door)because Audrey got involvement in the destruction of his own creation Lyritrol and the other messy stuff. But Joanna came in the found out the truth about Viv's death. Eventually, he will forgave her because she is the love of his life, but she will have to work hard at it to prove that she truly loves and that other stuff was work related.

reply

Silk,
I think Audrey will get killed. In the previews Robert is paying off a hit man. I do think Julian will be hurt by what Audrey did to sabotage his new drug Lyritrol but not as much as being betrayed by Joanna. Julian has nothing invested in his relationship with Audrey, he wasnt even sure if he liked her or not. His words to Joanna when she asked him about her was... " I like her, I think"!!.... but with Joanna these two have a past together and they were each other's childhood sweet heart and he was Joanna's first love, her first everything which is special to Julian and means a lot to him. He adores Joanna, and trust her and has been thinking about her all these years and when he finds out she's a cop, he's going to feel like none of what they shared was real. You are right.. she is going to have to work hard to win Julian's trust back . I do hope you are right and may be the writers will soften the blow a little when he finds out and bring it from a different angle of her wanting to find out who killed her best friend.. which is Julian's sister.

reply

CeCe,
Then great minds think alike then. I was thinking the same thing after posting my last comment. I have a bad feeling that Julian be caught in the crossfire. He will get hurt, but for Robert paying a hitman to kill Audrey, I don't know. I'm a bit confused. How would Robertabout Audrey and Lyritrol. He doesn't even know that her and Ben were friends and she probably used him to get what she wanted. It is the day that Viv died or it is for something else. The way that they showed the scenes in next week episode, got me confused.

Anyways, is it meor did anyone notice that Audrey looks sick as hell.

reply

Silk,
Did you see the video clip for next week? I just saw it on youtube. Julian and Edward are in the office with Will and he's putting a wire on Julian so he can get information on Audrey to bring her down. Thats how Robert finds out about Audrey's involvement. Also in the clip, Joanna walks in not knowing Julian is there and Gabe tells her and she hides out in another room until Will comes in to see her. Will tells Joanna that since the case is almost over.. maybe they can pick up where they left off and she tells him she slept with Julian and she didnt do it by mistake.. she wanted to do it. Woo Hoo!!!!

reply

CeCe,
Yes, girl I saw the clip. Pretty juicy clip if you ask me. The fact Robert knows I thought that Edward wasn't talking to his dad anymore after what he learned. Maybe it was Julian that told him after or the gardener.

reply

Silk,
I bet Julian lets Robert know whats going on since it doest involve Bowers and Lyritrol. My guess is that its not Edward but you never know. I just want Monday to come so we can see it. I wish we had a full season of episodes but oh well. I'm going to miss this drama when it ends in a couple of weeks.

reply

CeCe, I guess he will let him know what's going on. At the same time, Robert has to clear his name to Julian proving that he wasn't his fault afterall.

reply

Some on Tumblr were saying that Robert still had Vivian killed but was not responsible for the sabotage of Lyritrol... that was Audrey!! Personally, I think Audrey is responsible for both and your right... Robert's name will need to be cleared.... of that crime anyway..Lol

reply

Do you think Audrey had Viv killed for getting close to Ben or Ben fell in love with her. Don't forget they suppodely friends. About Robert killing Viv, I don't think he did thought, but Audrey made it look like he did. Don't forget she used to work for him, Julian cheating on her with a dancer. And something big happen that's why she was fired or she left the company.

reply

Yes.. I think Audrey had Vivian killed because she was about to spill everthing and because of Ben. If Audrey made it look like Robert did it.. its very plausible that the hit Robert is paying someone for next week is for Audrey.

reply

We have to wait and see how it all plays out.

reply

Well, tonight's episode showed it was about more than Julian/Joanna, and Mom probably lied to Joanna about why they left.

reply

That's exactly what I'm thinking. She laid the blame on poor Julian and had Joanna thinking it was her fault they had to leave.

Oh what tangled web we weave...

@gideon thats what I am thought too.

reply

Yes, it has to do with it. Remember when Robert threatened her about "her suppose involvement" in his wife's death. That's the reason why they left without Joanna knowing. Julian never had the chance to say goodbye to her.
