Julian. Hopefully season 2 will bring them a little closer.

Team Jolian all the way. As some have mentioned, I too hope they develop a closer relationship in S2. Last night I noticed a few things. Julian is really into Joanna and he's ready to go public. He doesnt care who knows about them. Joanna is still reluctant and it could be because she hasnt told him the truth yet. Joanna just left Julian at the celebration by himself to go off with Gabe. If Joanna is not careful, Julian will find out on his own and she wont have to tell him a thing. Julian wants her to move in with him and I can see he's ready to take this thing even further. If there is a S2, she will have to tell him the truth because if she doesnt, he will begin to put things together. Julian is very perceptive. Thats one of the things I like about his character.

I loved the scene with them cuddling and kissing on the bed but even then when Robert knocked on the door.. Julian didnt care one bit that it was Robert. Joanna doesnt want Robert to know about them yet and again... I'm sure its because of the investigation and now we know Robert is the one who killed Vivian.. she will have to really keep her eye on him.

Julian. The writers have done a good job at establishing them as the couple to root for due to the slow build-up they were given. I'd like for Julian and Joanna to continue learning about each other & relating as adults in a romantic manner if there's a 2nd season. I felt their interactions in this last episode while cutesy, lacked a bit of depth because they were still hiding the fact that they were together for some inexplicable reason.

Will and his sourpuss attitude and stank looks can go kick rocks--and I say this as someone who adores Laz.

Julian (He's just in lust with Joanna remembering a time long ago) for short-term amazing sex and Will for a long-term relationship (He really cares for her).

Julian is not lusting after Joanna. You can see the way he looks at her that he really cares for her and he's really into her. Will for a long time relationship? Really? He dont even know how to talk to Joanna. He's to rough and what woman wants to be talked to like that? He's not tender, he's not romantic and he has gotten on my last nerve. Joanna truly indeed has a calming affect on Julian and since he's been with Joanna you can see that. I honestly dont see what your talking about.

I want J & J to be together but that's wishful thinking. A man that truly cares for you doesn't fall into bed with another women so quickly and any woman's vajayjay has "a calming effect" on a man. Will is brutally honest with Joanna b/c he doesn't want J and his messed up family to eventually hurt/kill her. W & J have had tender moments. J is sexy hot but he's not the type to commit.

jones8557 - Just admit it you haven't even watched the show. Nothing you stated has anything to do with what was shown on Deception. Will loves his job more than anyone or anything else. Will could have had a relationship with Joanna but chose his job over her.

Julian may be in lust but that would end the first time he had sex with her. Apparently Julian is not having any problems wanting more and now he's calling her his girlfriend and introducing her to people so... with just the last episode he's well past lust, walking head long into love, my friend.

So my pick is Julian.

Julian, but it will take at least three episodes for him to get over the fact that she deceived him and got back into his life as undercover cop.

You can tell that he cares for her. He's hurt because he loves her and he doesn't trust Julian. It basically got worse when she told him that she slept with Julian, before she said that, he wanted to run off with her. She picked a bad time to tell what she did.

He's jealous of Julian. All he ever calls Julian is "little boyfriend," "your boyfriend," and "rich boyfriend." He's been doing that since the beginning. There's no reason for Will to be so rude.

Cranberri you are so right. Will is jealous of Julian and I got so tired him using those terms to describe Julian. Will just needs to man up and accept the fact that Joanna wants to be with Julian and not him. He had several chances with her and he failed them all. Live with it!!!!!

Julian. They are super sweet together and he's so open about how he feels, which makes me believe it's real. In the first episode (well the first few scenes), I was willing to give Will a chance, but his behavior just became more and more unacceptable and J/J's history and connection to each other makes them more interesting to me and it offers more tension b/c of her being undercover.

Will pulled such a douchebag move last night with that "you look familiar" crap. Now that he's "won" his case and been rejected, he could care less about Joanna's cover.

Cranberri, I couldnt agree more. Will just erks me to no end. I too think Julian's feelings for Joanna are real. Anyone who has watched this episode from 1-11 can see that. What I like about these two is that their build up was nice and slow and now Julian is just full blown for Joanna. Please tell me why he was doing a photo shoot and case had not been solved. Will is so full of himself!! He's arrogant and rubs me wrong every time.
I had to laugh when Julian pulled Joanna to go introduce her to Will. That was an awkward moment and Will once again...acts like a jackass!!!

Joanna also behaves differently around both of them. She's comfortable with both, but with Julian, she is very "I've known you my whole life" comfortable. That can make a difference.

My guess is that Haverstock is going to allow him to keep his glory as to not tip off Robert. But he didn't hardly solve the case. THEY solved the Lyritrol bit, but the other stuff was Joanna and dirty Gabe. Will's only redeeming quality for me lies with his interaction with Edward. I don't see them being friends (maybe just drinking buddies), but I like their scenes together.

Cranberri I agree with your take on how comfortable Joanna is around Julian. She looks as if she wanted to tell Will last night that she wanted them to at least be friends but Will wasnt having it. He basically told her to get out of the car and go back to CA. I love how Joanna dont pay him no mind though. She is determined to solve this case with or without him.
