Officially Cancelled
NBC cancelled Deception today, which really sucks. They could have at least given us 9 episodes to finish it off with some sort of resolution.

Just read it. What a shame. The show started off shaky but there was so much promise.

the storyline dragged on,to be honest!!!
I did not even remember to watch Deception. Seems like NBC had
under promoted the show this year and no wonder it got
canceled since the ratings were low due to most viewers not
even knowing about the show being on the air!

Some posters on the Deadline site wrote that they hadn't even heard of the show until TODAY.

I agree and find it amazing that a show like Hannibal got so
much promotion before the premiere episode had aired. While
Deception had very little advertising to the viewers! Blame
NBC's marketing people for this cancellation!

Really? You're 'surprised' a tv show based on HANNIBAL LECTOR got a lot of promotion and a nothing show like this didn't? That says a lot right there lol Not trying to be snide - but that's just a ridiculous statement and actually makes you seem rather stupid, no?

Ewww, I like horror shows but not Hannibal. Can't stand the main actor. I won't be watching Hannibal. I found Deception on the net and I'm watching it. It's too bad because it's a good show. Powerful families with secrets. It's not a new idea but each story is entirely different. I like the show and they should have advertised it because I won't watch the other show.
