Mawkish & hackneyed depiction

can we please have an end to the garbage of people being terrified of chemo, it's "ravages", the "inevitable" baldness, the eye-rolling and mind wandering etc etc.

Maybe in the 1950's when chemo was used in high doses, it's administered now by capula and also by tablet as cytoblastin. Less than 30% of patients lose hair, and it usually grown back healthier & shinier. Patients on morphine usually fall asleep and die peacefully, I wish film-makers would stop depicting this "horrible" end, as many people fear & reject treatment that may save their lives.

And before the trolls start posting, yes I have personal experience and yes I've been with people who've died.

I agree that hollywood makes the treatment out to be far more terrifying than it is. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how mild the side effects of the two different cycles I went through.

I havent seen this yet. How did they depict her chemo treatment? And what's a capula? Mine was all via canula which was no big deal eventhough I'm needle phobic.

As for the mind wandering - do you mean chemo brain?
