Anybody notice? Chloe + the color yellow

I couldn't help but note that in the first couple of episodes, that Chloe had at least one yellow article of clothing/accessories. She was wearing yellow shoes, had a yellow bag, and then wore a yellow top.

At first I was trying to give it some deeper meaning/significance, but then the third episode aired and when she was in her workout clothes, there was no yellow. But maybe Bays & Carter are just playing, given that yellow is pretty important on their other show, How I Met Your Mother.

Couldn't you do something less drastic than sleeping with her? Couldn't you just kill her?

Well, maybe that and the fact that her game pawn seems to be yellow.. just like the others are blue and red. even in the opening credits where they show the "town" the pawns are wearing the same colours. I assumed it was just a reference to the game.

Oh my gosh, good call! I didn't even notice that, but now that you've pointed it out, of course that makes sense -- and Henry and Jimmy each seem to wear a lot of red and blue respectively.

Carter and Bays are pretty good at little touches like that; wish the show was doing better so we could see more of them.

I'm curious about her necklace: why does she wear the initial R?

I noticed that too (especially because my name begins with an R and I liked the necklace!). Could be their mother's name began with an R? I cannot remember if they've said what her name was or not.

Or I also thought that maybe it belongs to Becki Newton and she forgot about having it on and no else noticed it either (Becki is short for Rebecca), but I tend to think it was purposeful for some reason.

Bays & Thomas tend to assign character colors in their shows.

Just like the promo picture, Henry wears red & Jimmy wears blue. The three primary colors are very complementary to each other and esthetically pleasing, as simple as that!
