This show is awesome. I am going to try to make it out to the Live show.

This show is amazing and from the second I saw the intro to the first episode, I knew it would be one of my favorites. I hope it gets the love it deserves and gains a decent following so they can keep making more.

reply

couldn't agree with you more; this show strikes my funny bone like no other.

Best show on adult swim in awhile? This is the best show in the history of television. First three episodes i watched i had to pause it so i could stop crying before i started watching again.

reply

the episode with Maxi, and when they showed his music video...I cry and shat my pants everytime I see that! I've showed that clip to many people haha

This. This, this, this. I knew after watching the first episode that I had stumbled upon something that would finally topple Xavier: Renegade Angel as my new all-time favorite show (did I also see a reference to Xavier in the latest episode? I think it was Sinbad. Eric Andre was wandering through the desert kind of awkwardly with 6 nipples. Could be a coincidence). I was sad to relinquish the reigns from PFFR (I LOVE all things PFFR), but truth be told this show deserves it. IMO everyone should be paying attention to this.

reply

what's PFFR?

reply

creators of three of the best shows of the post-90s television era.

& they had a show with Snoop Dog, apparently, which I haven't seen yet.

reply

Yeah, Doggy Fizzle Televizzle. Surprisingly, that show was still pretty funny (given it was made by Vernon from PFFR, of Wonder Showzen and Xavier fame and one of my favorite comedic writers). I would recommend trying to find it, it's been posted around.

reply

I thought the desert thing was a reference to the opening scene of Monty Python. Wouldn't be surprised if it's also a reference to PFFR, or, since the show is produced by Absolutely, if it's the same 6-nipple chestpiece for the grown up Chippy in Tim & Eric. Or was that Beyonce? Badaboom hubadahubadahonk.

reply

It's funny that you bring that up because, after seeing the episode with the girlfriend, she pointed out that the same chestpiece had appeared in an episode of Tim & Eric and suddenly that made more sense (seeing that the show is produced by Absolutely). However, I always hold out hope for picking up on an Xavier or PFFR reference in most anything. So far, disappoint :(.
