How is this a show? How has it been running for 4 seasons?

Seriously? Does anyone actually like this show? It's so, so stupid.

In the zombie apocalypse, you don't have to be the fastest runner, you just can't be the slowest.

You could say it's stupid, and I can say it's genius (which I do believe it is). What we gonna do about this difference of opinion??

It's been running for a long time, so plenty of people think it's funny. I think it's silly. Just not my kind of humor.

I totally rewrote my original post as my viewpoint has changed dramatically. I originally just didn't dig the humor at all,(this coming from a person that laughs at Hunger Force Aqua Teamξ€ž),the humor wasn't hitting me right or maybe, sh!t irdk what happened, but what wasn't funny suddenly became rotflmao to me.

.......a total mystery. Humor is not only a funny thing, but actually a funny thing. Not only is it subjective, but one person's subjectivity or perception of what is funny can change with the seasons. Or even perhaps as the days change.

Anyway this show is hilarious at times and thus I'm giving it the standard πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ up the ass.*

Its an artsy show with an actual backdrop and narrative. The humour is is supposed to catch you off guard and be extemely vile and shocking. I applaud Eric Andre and Hannibal Buress for having the cojones to go that far. For me that is also a statement and a big F U to the PC culture and the conventional Comedy shows which were already boring when they were concieved. This is like Monty Phyton or Bottom. A complete trainwreck of insanity done on purpose. OF course not every joke hits the mark but Intro alone is always hillarious and creative. The narrative of a washed up, guy stuck in nightmarish purgatory in form of crappy low budget TV show driven to insanity is just ingenious.

I'm actually glad you replied, the other night very late or early depending on your perception, the show comes on and I suddenly just "got" it and laughed hilariously at a few different scenes. I was so bummed that it had to end so abruptly as those 15 minutes shows do, but I actually watched it twice that night/morning and actually went and caught a few other recent episodes

And after enjoying the show for what it was I thought back to my comment that I posted on the board and thought, sh!t how ironic, it took hating it in order to like it. I had actually thought I erased my comment here, but alas I did not. Since you replied I will amend my Op to my changed views.

I think before I had made up my mind in advance to not let in and welcome the insanity and the parade of utter rudeness in front of famous people. It's like a "how long can we make this particular star sit in his seat before leaving or getting extraordinarily offended or just laugh at it all, the prior two being the best of events.

I don't get how he manages to always get these a-list type of guests on the show, it's like they lost a bet or a dare considering how many people actually truly do get offended, mad and end up walking off set. It's like did they not know what to expect?lol Whatever the case, it's good stuff!

TBH most of the celebs are way past their prime...Ryan Phillipe, Sindbad for example. They are desperate to get back into the limelight and that empty premise is what the show feeds off. They simply dont know what they are getting into. Seth Rogen and the like are probably in on the joke. I know Tyler the Creator and Jack Black are fans of Eric and Hannibal so of course they had to join just for the fun of it.
