The host is weird, to say the least, the premise clunky and odd. The only reason I posted here was I see it has been renewed, and I thought DAMN I thought I was never gonna have to see that creepy guy on a commercial for that weird show again.

I've never seen it because that guy looks way too much like Dr. Evil from the Aistin Powsers movies, and it freaks me out.
All he needs a Mini-Me to act as his Sous Chef...
They must've renewed it for filler, because it's NOT watchable.
Food Network competition shows have snobby judges, but this guy requires perfection 100% of the time.
Someone may create some sugary treat you think is amazing, but he'll go "Nope, you forgot x inspiration that I do in my x dish, it's worthless."
At first I though I would never watch it. The host seemed weird and it's just another dessert show. After watching a couple of episodes I have totally changes my mind. The contestants on the show are soo talanted it blew my mind, and Ron Ben-Israel (the bald guy/Dr. Evil) is not snarky, rude and overly dramatic like most TV show judges (i.e. all the judges on chopped and some on Iron Chef).
You should give it a try you may be suprised.
I agree. I was reluctant to watch it at first because the whole concept seemed bizarre. I am now hooked and enjoying the new season! The host is actually very funny in a serious kind of way and he's not rude or pretentious.
Give it a try, it's pretty entertaining.

I was unsure of it, but now I not only like to watch it.. I look forward to seeing it every week. Give it a chance, he's actually pretty entertaining and weird in a good way.

LOL....nope...he's still just weird. I can't stand the show, not even the damn commercials. And if that was some kind of slam on me...*beep* u..im gay but i have taste.
