Thought I would hate this show, but actually love it !!

I will admit, I was prepared to hate this show. But it has really grown on me.
This season, Chef Ron seems much more light and entertaining. Last season he was a bit more stoic. This season, he is very funny !!!
And although I'm sure the show is not for everybody, I will say that I think he gives an honest opinion of what sweet is placed in front of him.
I've noticed that on some shows, he will love a contestants dish in one round, but may very well send this home in the next round if their next dish did not make the cut.
I think the contestants are awesome. There is no way in the world I would be able to come up with the sweet treat they have prepared on the show with those ingredients !! Genius !!!!
I totally respect everyone's opinion. Just my two cents !! :)

I really like Chef Ron! He is different and not afraid to show his true personality, unlike other shows where the judges are so wooden and serious. I've been loving this season so far, except for the most recent episode, I did NOT like his choice for the winner.

I agree Crystal. He is really a unique host and very funny !
Just out of curiosity, was it the mother/daughter father/son episode where you didn't like the winner?
There have been a few that I had hoped would have a different outcome too. Of course I didn't taste the deserts !! lol !!

Yes, the family one. I thought the daughter should have been eliminated in the first round after she used what her mother had prepared. I think that's cheating. There have been some others where I didn't agree with the winner, but it's usually just based on whose desserts I liked best. But I really did think she should have gone in the first round. I also think that NOBODY deserved to win in that episode, nobody really stood out.

Yes, I agree. It really wasn't fair to allow the daughter to go on if she used something prepared by someone else.. regardless of it being her mom.
If my mom tried to help me (and I'm sure she would), I would have just said no, and tried to do it on my own..
I don't think I would have been able to do ANYTHING with Spinach though !!

WHY does this thread sound like these "writers" work on the show?

And, "totally respecting everyone's opinion" WOULD INCLUDE JEFFREY DAUMER!

Well, I don't work on the show. But I do watch it, and enjoy it.
I meant that I respect all opinions from users who post about the show. And this includes yours. Thanks.
