I like the concept of the show but he is just god awful as a host. He has no personality and comes off as a douche. I would've preferred alton brown or anyone but this hack

yeah, i can't even watch the commercials for this show... the host weirds me out so much it's insane!!!

Weird is only the beginning; he looks "dirty" like he showers in Clorox but is still covered with cooties!

I would HATE to meet the creep in a dark alley; or even a sunlit kitchen!

I feel sorry for the contestants; to need $10,000 so badly that you have to interact with him is horrible. I HOPE they don't have to shake hands; that would really be too much!

WHY can't the Food Network bosses see that he is a CREEP!

I think you either love him or hate him, but he can be very loving and kind, but he demands people be honest and not game him.

Agreed.

I was just watching the "Fiery Genius" episode and I'm 99% sure he eliminated the guy because he considered making a cake in a microwave (which he event admitted to liking) beneath him instead of basing it on the fact that he used the required ingredients and was most creative in his implementation of the inspiration, while one of competitors flat out admitted he completely forgot about the mandatory inspiration element.

Agreed. I like him. He's funny, down to earth and a fair judge. I'm sad the show is no longer airing new episodes.
