Having just finished watching the second season of Hannibal, I noticed the opening credits claim the characters to be based on those from Thomas Harris' book Red Dragon. Why isn't the novel Hannibal mentioned in the opening credits? The Verger's didn't appear in Red Dragon as far as I'm aware.
shareBecause Will Graham belongs to RD and RD's only, so they have to mention RD instead of all the books, which they can't because they don't have the rights of SOTL and because the whole saga doesn't have an official name and Will Graham is the main character of the series and RD, is logical to mention only RD.
