Thinking back on it I had to laugh - maybe he was crying because the opera singer was the 'meal that got away'.
No, I don't recall any other scene like that, but in the season 1 finale when he's visiting Will in prison...there's a moment where he stops and seems to be overcome by the music he hears in his mind. "Vide Cor Meum"
