Season 2 - I'm confused (spoilers)

Was Will eating people with Hannibal willingly???

I know he was supposed to be undercover as Hannibal's friend to catch him and I know that lines got crossed and Will's allegiance became questionable....

but when he was eating meals with Hannibal ALL THE TIME?!

I feel like I'm missing scenes where he should be forcing himself to puke afterward.

Bro! You didn't have to go that deep undercover!
