Why does season 2 begin with a scene of Jack and Hannibal fighting? This ruined the mystery of when or if Hannibal would get caught?
Not ruined at all. Don't say it until you watch the entire season. Believe me, you won't be disappointed with that finale.
Mizumono is one of the best finales in TV history.

Agree. I thought it was going to be more clever. Sneak up on me, I kept trying to remember, "what were they wearing in that opening scene, is this the meal where the fight happens?" But then it didn't sneak up at all. It was spelled out in all caps!

And because of that, I thought it was pointless to give it away at the beginning. Almost as if they forgot that they had started the season that way.
