Hannibals treatment of bella

Anyone a little disturbed by this? Weird that in a show with such grueseome acts something about Hannibals revival of bella after she tried to commit suicide bothered me. She came in broken, depressed, in despair, and looking for a way out. It would not have bothered him at all to simply let her pass and he flipped a coin to decide to allow her to continue her suffering.

reply

Hannibal is an ass hole. Yes it was disturbing.

reply

Ironic that one of his cruelest acts was to save a life, not take it. And the flip of the coin she gave him. I miss this show.

I understand. Thank you for telling me. -The masked bandit

reply

I assumed it was because he couldn't eat her. She poisoned herself.

reply

It had nothing to do with eating her. He showed what a bastard he is by deciding on dying with dignity which she wanted by flipping her coin.

reply

Could it be possible that this is actually one of the human moments of hannibal where he actually wanted Jack to have more time with his wife because he liked him?

reply

No.

reply

I thought that also, Hannibal would let Jack handle his wife's exit.

reply

Lol. I'm with Dani on this one. No.

I cannot tell you how upsetting I found that vile, cruel and callous act. I think it's when I finally fell out of love with the charming bastard (until the finale). I cheered when Bella cracked him across the face, and remember wishing she had a brick in her hand.

reply

We all enjoyed that.

I think I remember reading at the time that she hit Mads a lot harder than he expected. Gotta love that method acting.

reply

LOL. That cheekbone probably hurt her hand more than it hurt Mads' face.

I don't think he minds getting roughed up. I remember B6 telling me that the scene in the spa where he was crucified left him feeling very unwell after all the takes.

reply

It really didn't bother me, it was typical Hannibal.
