It's an Epic Sequel that deserves a Schumacher movie

I am a huge phantom of the opera fan. Yet somehow I only heard two weeks ago Andrew Lloyd Webber made a sequel.

I could not have been more happily blown away by what he did. The POTO hurt so much when Christine chooses the safe road with Raoul. When you could always tell what she wanted was the phantom. Of course some of the really ignorant, crazy, and naive things Phantom did, definitely didn't help his cause. But he's kind of like a genius who knows no better, due to complete shuttered away from the real world upbringing he had.

Anyways back to LND...many complaints I've read go on about, why pick up from characters we know and they've already made their decisions. But these people couldn't be more wrong. Life and love, never stops moving. People change, live with regrets, or go through things that alter what or who they were. Especially after ten years.

The beautiful music and score, naturally deserves a REAL movie...but what deserves it most, is the theme and feel. The eerie carnival music that's so beautifully done. The "freaks" and sideshow actors of Coney Island definitely would look, feel and come across amazing in a truly directed film. I remember thinking through the first Coney Island opening number how perfect Tim burton would be to direct. Or even Schumacher again. This sequel soooo deserves a real movie.

Especially considering my only one problem with it, was simply the acting. The actors did great , but they deserve a chance to really act AND sing. Which onstage isn't so easy. Think about how much more heart-wrenching the scene on the pier would be if it were in a directed real movie. This show screams amazingness, especially with a motion picture vibe.

I'd be first in line to see it.
