I'm more concerned about the quality of his movies than about the sexuality of his characters.

This is not my signature. This is IMDb's automatic translation of my signature.

I agree. Quality is important. I say this as a both an Anglophone and Hispanophone viewer, Almodovar is great and one of my all-time favourites, but with this film, I think it shows that he has already peaked.

If you don't like 'gay sh!t', why don't you go look at some 'hetero sh!t' instead? You are under no duress to view this film (or any Almodóvar films) so why concern your delicate sensibilities with something you obviously can't handle?

Homophobic much?

1. I actually can't recall anything gay in Hable con ella (talk to her).
2. If you think gay automatically means sh!t, I'm not even sure there's any point answering you like you're a rational person.

And most importantly:

3. I think it sucks for a director to be expected not to feature his own life in all of his movies. Don't think any straight directors come across the demand that they make a movie without any straight characters every once in a while. Same goes for gay writers or singers or any other field of art. This demand from gay artists is just another result of ignorance and homophobia.
