Mommie Dearest

Matt Levett was great.

Technically, the movie seemed top notch.

Overall, I gave a 6 rating.

The theme of homophobia and how a homophobic character evolves is a great idea for a movie,
but Len's story itself, how he was a non-stop, over-the-top, abusive, dangerous @sshole, seemed somewhat in the style of Mommie Dearest. So I found that a friendship between Len and Phil was unbelievable.

The friendship between Len and Phil was unbelievable; and the only thing that kept it going was Len's 1) more than obvious repressed sexuality, and 2) the fact that they all had to work/swim together.

Were we supposed to NOT believe Len was gay? He clearly was.
