Biased reviews and large distribution of garbage

I wouldn't normally rip a small budget student film apart because I've worked on so many. That being said....

This almost made me cancel Netflix and I've heard it's even been out into redbox.

This is ridiculous. There's no coherent story or plot that has any substance, the score was more monotonous than an episode of CSI, the acting was atrocious... Don't rent, buy, even waste time on this crap. This is below Indy to par with making a film in your garage. To glorify this and capitalize on it mocks the very genre and title of student or Indy film to its core. Shame to everyone involved in this garbage.

Thank you for post, i was starting to think that my time on IMDB was done. How in the creation of the heavens can life on this Earth rate well, enjoy, or enter onto the www that they felt this movie was anything but a letter C grade in an Art 101 class at a local junior college.

My family and I rented this from a Redbox because we wanted to enjoy a horror and thought that a movie RIPPING OFF THE TITLE OF A GREAT SHOW LIKE "AMERICAN HORROR STORY" would have a good story, character chemistry, and terror. I understand people with absolutely no acting ability what so ever might one day grab a camera and want to make a movie for fun. I am upset about a couple of things; why did this go to distribution, marketing, redbox, production? Why is it on IMDB? THIS IS NOT A MOVIE to anyone but the friends and family of directors and actors. The movie may have done somewhat, barely, ok if the writer/producer/editor got an actor to play the LEAD ROLE.

Im aware this post seems a-hole-ish and blow hardy, but the movie is really really bad. It might be the worst and im upset this was made available to me, that others on this website are saying it was ok, and that I paId money to see it. Ok, now I can move on with my life.

DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE

The thing is though you should never listen to reviews. We should all have minds of our own. Does it kill you to give something a chance? Especially on Netflix. For less than 10 bucks a month do you really need to be annoyed at the once in a while flop?

I read reviews just to see if it's something I would be interested in but I never trust them completely. I don't give a rats ass what some joe blow thinks. Usually those they pan I end up liking. And Oscar winners usually bore the hell out of me. Great budget or not.

I'm with you on this one Eve_of_Destruction. I found the last ten minutes of this movie highly entertaining. Was I laughing at some of it? Sure. But I loved the final "fight" with the ghost under the sheet lol. The rest of it was a mixed bag, and yeah it bored me at some points and was very amateur, but was it the worst movie I've ever seen? Not even close. When I do come across a stinker, I turn it off and move on without feeling the need to find a message board to blast it on. Keep on, Director.

I totally agree.

This movie was probably the second worst film I have ever seen in my life.
