The film fell apart when... (contains spoliers!)

George Clooney and Jack O'Connell were let out of the TV studio and to wander around outside and walk through streets lined with onlookers, with Jack waving a loaded handgun about and with his 'hostage' George wearing explosives strapped to his chest! Yes, it's a movie, but that was really stretching it. There is no way the police would have ever let them out of the TV studio armed as they were, as there would have been a risk of dozens of people being blown up (yes the explosives were fake but the police did not know) or shot by a nutter with a loaded hand gun. The police could have contained the hostage taker in the TV studio but once outside walking down the street they lost control of it, and, as well all know, you need full control which is why the police seal off such crime scenes and prevent people from wandering in and out.

This is a good point, and while I enjoyed that part of the film, it is totally implausible

I found it truly comical how Lee suddenly became the mark, using thee gunman as shelter... I mean WTF!?

But also, that moneymonster show wouldnt fly in real life... And doesnt either... It reminded me of intro scenes in Rumble in the Jungle or the same style in 2fortheMoney.... But not wallstreet.

This film fell apart from the ridiculous opening scene. And it just kept falling apart. Man I can't believe how bad this was.

The reference and analogy to the O.J. Bronco chase to make it appear more plausible didn't work.
