I think the 'Old-Man, joke very similar to the Black Adder 'Darling ' joke as it changes the context of any sentence it is used in - what do you reckon?

Managed to amuse sad old hippies like me with the Neil Young reference ("Old man look at my life")

Yes, that Neil Young line made me laugh out loud, old hippy that I am, especially the repose: "I'm a lot like you were."
