How old are the actors.

The show started with 3charcters sitting an exam. Judging by the uniforms and ages of other kids these must have been gcses. So why do the 2main character look like 25 year olds?

Whoever cast this show should be shot.

The bloke is supposed to be 16, the girl is supposed to be 18. IMDB lists Scarlet Alice Johnson's age as 26!!! Sean Michael Verey looks 22-24?! I _really_ wish they wouldn't do that, but every such show is the same, e.g., "Waterloo Road" and "Hunky Dory" which is coming out at the cinema 2nd March 2012. I find it really annoying.

Because there's no way they could get away with getting a real sixteen year old and eighteen year old to film scenes like that.

Personally, I've seen worse. They might look a little older, but they certainly act like their character's age.

Why exactly wouldn't they geht away with it? There's not even a mild sex scene whatsoever in the whole show...

Though i agree the cast looks perfectly fine, and not too old.

I sort of guessed the boy was older than 16, but he looks like a teenager to me. Also I thought teenage girls tried to look older than they really are, so seems reasonable casting to me. Great show so far anyway. All the characters (including the parents) and situations are believable (if exaggerated), yet it's still very funny.

I think the show is brilliant.

Perfect choice of actors for the program.

the actors are between 20-26 you can get a lot of work if you look and can protray someone at school age

They don't like school age though, not at all. The guy with the curly hair, you can see his stubble for crying out loud!

People start shaving at about 14 or 15. I knew people at 16-18 in sixth form who had full stubble beards

Jamie actually looks a lot like a guy I went to college with, who was 16-18.

I think they do look the ages they're supposed to be, given I'm their age...
