Anyone have any thoughts as to why she is sitting up awake like that?

I was thinking the same thing, maybe it was bad?

I guess it was terrible, or she realized that she loves him too, and this terrifies her.

Or she's regretting what she's done in a moment of passion and gratitude now that she's had time to think on it and is wondering about the consequences.
