Over-exposure of Kevin Hart in this one made the first one better…

…overall as a Rom-Com.

The first one was more of ensemble piece with Kevin Hart as the comic relief. For me, that made "Think Like a Man" one of my favorite films of 2012 and was one of the reasons that it was number one for about a month when it was released in the Spring of that year.

This one is more focused on Kevin's character with the others all as side stories. That may have, in some folks eyes, made "Think Like a Man Too" funnier BUT I was looking forward to seeing something like the first one "with Kevin Hart," not a tour-de-force "starring Kevin Hart."

Just my opinion.

He's better in small doses.

Like the scene when he was checking out the features of his hotel room. He was trying to force it into being funny with his reactions, but it wasn't at all

I COMPLETELY agree. I BIT much too much

Holy hell, tell me about it. I have always loved Kevin Hart, but I wasn't feeling him in this one. Why did they have him going on and on and on and ON about the guys not having enough fun? Every other word was "What the hell are ya'll doing? Have fun! Oh my God, what the hell are you talking about? WTF is wrong with you? Have a good time! We're in Vegas!". I was like, damn, shut tf up. It wasn't funny, especially because he YELLED every line in that high pitched voice, even in the damn narrations. Too much for me.

I am SOOOOOOO SICK of kevin hart! He needs to take a page from the Chris rock school of exposure and do less work! Besides that he ISN'T THAT FUNNY!

Completely agree with your post. He's certainly better in small amounts and this film was too much.

I can handle Hart's humor. When it comes to over the top, he does it quite well. Not crazy but not dull either. Kevin Hart wasn't just the comic relief, but the lead in both films.
