When you can tell a movie will flop just from the appearance.

You ever see a movie that just has "Flop" written all over it... This seems like one of those movies. Two actors who are usually the weakest in their movies, and they've been partnered up... And it looks like they've put 200 Million dollars into this movie... Why does so much money need to be put into these movies no one wants to see? Why can't that money be put to better use like helping suffering people?

Instead, movie studios keep turning out this kind of crap...

I agree, the movie looks so cartoonish and the actors are very weak. Another kids with guns doing stupid stuff for stupid reasons movie.

It at least appears to be doing okay with critics. Likely won't become a financial hit in the US considering its competition. Internationally? Maybe.

I know it's not ze best but my mum home-skooled me as bestest as she cud.

I work all day feedin ze pigz and chickenz so don't really have time now.

You do realize that the 200 million spent on the movie ended up paying the salaries of the people that make a living making movies. It doesn't matter if the movie is a great or a complete bomb those people are employed and that means the movie pass along 200 million to people working in that industry. Probably ended up with more money spread around than if say Apple spent 200 million developing some tech gadget as it would have been 200 spent on a much smaller number of engineer salaries.

As for it being a flop... Yep.... I didn't expect much from looking at the actors in the lead rolls... I was right they were completely miscast and probably lowered the movie a lot from where it could have been had they gotten decent actors for the rolls.
