I would say so. He didn't ever seem that interested in being intimate with her, beyond kissing. Well, other than when they first started dating. After that it seemed forced. I think that was partly why he always seemed stoned. Trying to run away and not deal with his feelings.
Though I still don't think Kat's father way gay. He just seemed incredibly lonely and Phil for whatever reason gave him the attention he was so desperately craving.
Anyone who could turn kat down needs help. She was stunning.
