Micheal Wong doesn't speak Chinese nor was he trained in martial arts or even acting and he had no connections at all to the close-knit HK film industry. So how the hell did he get his big break? I know he did some modelling, was that it?

I just saw him in Skiptrace (2016) and thought he was an awful actor, particularly his first scene where he's telling off JC.
