IMDB gives megaforce a 6.2 out of 10 while IMDB gives Samurai a 4.9 out of 10
IMDB ratings don't determine your opinion of a film. I like The Care Bears Movie and Down and Derby for example, which got 5s on IMDB but I love them.
Megaforce season 1 isn't a mess, it's actually pretty OK. Super Megaforce is a mess (though the MMPR season 3 finale sounds more like a cliffhanger), especially the finale. They blew their budget on a 2 minute battle.
I'm with you kiti22, Megaforce definitely deserves more respect. The actions scenes are cool, the characters are great if a little underdeveloped, the monsters are a bit frightening, and there's some moments of emotion and creativity. I didn't see Super Megaforce, but no matter.

I saw Super Megaforce, its okay but its not as good as RPM nor Time Force, but still better than Samurai/Super Samurai
