Legendary War

I found this episode underwhelming

reply

But i think that episode was not bad at all
Even imdb liked
I know a lot of people got freaked out by that finale but i liked it

The extended finale was on monday
Does that mean im going to watch this again?

reply

Well. That surely was dissapointing.

The villain looked pathetic.

The "legendary battle" itself was rather dissapointing.. No generals, no commanders, just all Putties?

Could have made up for it by having a couple of the legendary rangers Morph.
Did anyone catch the green ranger (JDF) in the fight itself?

Which villain?

They are not putties, they are x borgs

The legendary battle episode is good

Look at the rating on the legendary battle page on imdb

What's his name. General or Commander. The dude in charge of the entire armada.

The one Troy and Orion fought on the ship.
Expect to atleast see the villain shoot some laser beams/thunder, turn into some beast or something. You know, things they always use.

But it was just a very brief fight.

Equivalent to the Putty Patrol. but nonetheless, yes Xborgs.

The battle was good, but it was just very brief. There was alot of hyping up for the episode, and alot of hype for the return of JDF and others. Only they were there for like two 1 minute cameos. the Intro and the scene without their helmets.
Could have used more of usual team up stuff. you know, the morphs, the 5 colored fireworks, etc.

If the point was to show that you are never alone and that teamwork conquers all. Then yes it did it greatly That's most likely the point of the entire show (other than to sell toys).

- I don't follow imdb ratings considering alot of movies are "good" or "great" but the ratings says otherwise. And other movies are decent and should be around 5 or 6. but are at a mediocre 1-3.

Agreed! The main final battle and it's just minions and less than 10 minutes at that.
*yawn*

- In my sparetime I like to necro old posts

Looks like.

They flew the others out there for the cameos.

And recreated footage for all the rangers (excluding the Tommy variants).

Kudos to whoever can find tommy in the fight.

The rangers fight against loads of x borgs reminds me of the battle against 1000 heartless from kingdom hearts 2

reply

I was excited to see ALL the rangers from the past and they only show a handful for only a few moments

usually the formula is main villain and henchmen and the rangers face off for 1 final battle and the rangers use their full power and get easily beat down by the villians. then while down (no powers and no zords) and having the deck stacked against the rangers they somehow overcome with teamwork...but none of that was here

the action was blah

reply

Yeap. was expecting that too.

reply

usually the last episodes end up in a 2-4 parts but this wasn't the situation

Even with the extended scenes, it lacks compared to the Sentai. (And I only got into Sentai recently. Don't accuse me of being a snob.)

Like the final battle with the Emperor:

If they were gonna film new scenes, why not this, too? They had to cut out Turbo, Time Force, Wild Force, and RPM because they were alongside the Japan-only teams.

Does anyone realize that they copied some parts of the In Space finale? Except for the whole Andros/Astronoma scene at the end? And they didn't reveal themselves like In Space did.
