heroes- The Rangers of this Season are Great 10/10

villains - Ransik is one of the Best Villains 10/10, Nadira was Amusing as Divatox 8/10, The Monsters are Decent 6/10
zords- Pretty Good 9/10
finale- a Touching Finale and one of the best finales since chase into space parts 1&2 and Countdown to Destruction Parts 1&2 10/10
Overall- One of the Best Seasons of Power Rangers, but if you missed in space then time force is what you need 10/10

opening/ending- a lot of fans hated that Theme Song but i liked it more than the diamond and pearl theme song 7/10
heroes- Great Team of Rangers 10/10
actors/actresses- This series has the best acting 10/10
villains/villainesses- Venjix 10/10, Shifter 8/10, Kilobyte 9/10, Tenaya 7 (shes a little bit annoying) 7/10, Tenaya 15 8/10, Crunch (the worst and most dumbest villain ever) 2/10
finale- an Epic Finale 10/10
Overall- the best Disney power rangers season of the franchise 10/10
having just experienced the third episode of Dino charge.I now post first the format i am gonna use
a)opening/ending- the means the graphics music ect ect that comes in the opening/ending sequences
b)heroes- this is wether or not I feel they are memorable ect ect
c)focus-this essentially focuses on plot but it has many other elements as well
d)actors/actresses-well this about the major and minor character actors
e)technology-this covers zords battlizers ect ect
f)villains/villainesses- these are the ones who are the “bad guys” however beware some baddies are not always as bad as they are made out to be
g) zords- decided to add this category because I want to do a bit more detail of the zords
h)morality- this covers how clear the morality new category
i)admission-this is here if I have erroneously given it a rating in ignorance
j) finale- how satisfactory or unsatisfactory the finale was.
k) Overall-this category is the combination of the other categories and how well all of them meshed or currently mesh to make the show happen.
oh yes a small point i put in mortality because of SPECIFICALLY Time force look closely at the series and you will see what i mean. there maybe a few others who qualify for it to be there but need to make the format standardized.
1) the 1st gen (MMPR)
a) opening/ending well at the time super cool and has a special place in my heart so i give it a 6/10
b) heroes- these are the pioneers and the funny thing is the acting was pretty dam good but not perfect but they hold a special place in my heart the romance the struggles from within at times but always in the end focused on the exterior threats the heroes a great here.
c)focus-the focus great focus a 10/10 the spirits of the dinosaurs for the most part except mastadon but it kept focused the entire time.the plots of this gen were good but i also know in the japanese version i know the green ranger died but here he was depowered because it was for kids and tommy was popular here. over all the plots were great though corny but great.
d) actors/actresses well not the best of all the gens but they were the first so i give them an 8/10 for being pioneers and this was when i liked tommy and jason(hell i went to a con to get asutin st john's signature) they tugged at my heart strings
e) technology- technology- this is the big problem of the show in this gen toooo much culminating in tor i believe and the ultra zord waaay tooo much they got to the point lokar was no problem to defeat (drive away) so 5/10
Note: though I know this is somewhat in every generation since this one but I am surprised the identities were never discovered um hello!!!!! Only five people are wearing these “watches” which beep frequently.
f) villains/villainesses-Rita Repulsa(main) eventually lord zedd(thunder zord gen goldar(right hand I would call him a lieutenant) then finster(engineer) and squat and Baboo uh can anyone say COURT JESTERS!? And let's not forget rita's incompetent brother rito. Again how would I say it best?UGH INCOMPETENT BUT they have a special place in my heart none the less and i see them for what they are the beginning villains who made the shows first season funny and their entertainment value was great 7/10
g)the Zords -oh yes these were special the zords were great and memorable a 10/10.
h) morality-clear cut the villains obviously were the ones who should not be here.
I) admission-not necessary in this generation
j)finale- not really applicable because the first three generations had what I would call transition episodes rather than finales. Finales became a phenomenon of gen 4 and later
K) overall- a 10/10 all the elements came together and covered most the the faults making the first gen great
2) 2nd gen-(MMPR thunder zord)
a) oh yes the opening/ending a 10/10 wonderful opening the beginning of a great era no more needs to be said.
b) heroes-this continues with those who would eventually become called the veterans and I must say they come back
c) focus- 10/10 wow the focus of this era yes the great focus continues if i could give a higher rating than 10 i would but on a 10 point scale 10 will have to suffice. the focus went from dinosaurs to mythical animals/modern animals the
continuing plot of Rita and now having lord Zedd involved made it more comical but great.
d) the actors/actresses continue to be great as they were the same from the first gen but i think they were starting to hone their skills so they get a 10/10 for this gen
e) Technology- well where first gen piled on the technology one on top of the other this gen kept the tech at a sufficient level but still great they corrected the mistake of the previous gen 10/10
f)Villains/villainesses- lord Zedd came in here as the "Overlord" of darkness came off fearsome at first in fact his first monster made the transition GREAT even with the combo of Rita still with him eventually and she becoming his wife ugh BUT overall he was a great villain even though he degraded into stupidity 8/10
g) Zords- THE ZORDS well these zords were great and my favorite is the white tiger thunder zord which marks the return of Tommy whom i still liked during that time and he returned not as back up but a primary fighter and fully charged in his power to become the leader of this force. the rest of the zords especially the red dragon zord were great as well 10/10
h)morality-cut and dry rita and zedd are the ones who must be defeated the rangers do the defeating
i)admission-none necessary
j) finale-none just a transition from one type to the next
k)overall-this is the gen I remember the most. This is the gen that I believe Tommy reached the height of his power greater than any generation yet to come no matter what was is or has been said this gen is perfection 10/10
3) 3rd gen (ninja zord after the three interlude episodes)
a) opening/ending still the thunder zord opening for the first three episodes but the ninja zord era opening still great 10/10
b)heroes- now we come to the first time we see the changing of the guard truly not just characters coming in and out
c) focus- continues with great focus and best of all to a certain extent they brought in another incompetent villain hey what do you expect the plot continues to be corny over all but great hey we all know the plots are always the weak point but in that context i have rated them as 10/10
d) actors/actresses - *sighs* it HAD to happen the coming or rocky Adam and Aisha replacing Jason Billy and Trini Kwan(mayThuy Trang know peace with the goddess) the acting was decent but i missed the originals so it went down to 7/10 oh wow I almost forgot about the new pink ranger introduced in a different shade of pink Catherine Sutherland now HER I LIKED and for the first time ever I give a single actress her own rating 10/10 on their choice of Catherine Sutherland!!!!
e) technology-hey kept the technology at a constant level once more so 10/10 on this category
f) Villains/villainessesVillains/villainesses- Lord Zedd still around degraded into stupidity by this time completely Rita's brother as an addition again fearsome at first but showed his stupidity very quickly compared to previous villains probably because of his bone headedness(YES I WENT THERE!!) but the villains again made for great entertainment 9/10
g) the zords this is what i wanted to discuss most of all most of the zord were great falcon crane wolf ape and then there was FROG ugh Adam though i didn't like him got gyped on his zord so that makes the primary zords 9/10 now for the shogun zords ugh i hate the shogun zords 4/10
h)morality- pretty clear cut
i)admission-not necessary
j)finale-again not so much a finale as they have an interlude with some episodes with a quest
k) overall- a 10/10 again the elements came together once more to cover the faults nicely
4) 4th gen (Zeo gen)
a)opening/ending fairly decent but not as great as the previous ones hmmm 8/10
b)heroes- the heroes in some cases manage to pop tommy and kat especially. Rocky adam and aisha start to SOMEWHAT come into their own
c) focus- the focus in this gen is ok power comes from the zeo crystals and they desperately TRY to resurrect the connection to mythical animals not very well BUT they still keep the focus and in this case it is more the tech than the spirits of said animals but there is a focus there and they do keep the focus right on.
d) actors/actresses- they continue with some of the actors and actresses from the previous gen and I must say I likes the fact the kitty continues into this gen she makes a wonderful pink ranger AND the good news is the return of a veteran but one who knew when enough was enough austin st john now over all I give them amazingly 8/10
d) Zords the zeo zords
e) technology- was kept at a consistent level 10/10
f) Villains/villainesses- this ends the official run of rita,zedd and by default master vile along with no more rito or goldar AS THE MAIN VILLAINS they appear in sort of a secondary capacity as somewhat a foil to the machine FAMILY. Now to this gen's main antagonists we have king mondo queen machina and sprocket this is the MAIN branch and the ones considered proper and loyal though the sidekicks aren't exactly 100% loyal but they do serve the house of gadget so I will let it slide. King mondo and family overall are pretty much like rita and zedd with a machine twist always saying “i will destroy those rangers!!!” you know like the formula monster of the week UNTIL the episode “Hawaii Zeo”
now we come to a first for my analysis rita and zedd and company BEFORE “Hawaii Zeo” eh I would say about 5/10 come on not exactly high brow power ranger villains. The Machine Family before “Hawaii Zeo” maybe 6/10 now.....
upon the day of Hawaii Zeo and after that good as gold
rita and zedd FINALLY get 8/10 now you ask why correct? Well what is different simple for the first time in a LOOONG TIME they made a monster(even if by accident) that took every shot INCLUDING THE OVERPOWERED PYRAMIDAS ULTRA ZORD COMBO and threw the energy back AMAZINGLY AN OVERSIZED TALKING PURSE impursenator was not only holding its ground but....KICKING THE RANGERS BUTTS wait rita and zedd are only part of this epic semi apolocalypse
the MACHINE FAMILY's rating gets raised to 8/10 because they crerated cog changer took control of the zeo megazord and along side YES ALONG SIDE impursenator piloting the super zeo megazord meanwhile down on the ground with jason's fading gold powers a NEW BREED OF COG emerged(never acknowledged they were new) These cogs wore one of cog changer's cogs on their chest and seemed tough and for some odd reason carried weapons and COMPENTLY used them. The machine base closing in but worse the petulance between the two forces caused a fight between the megazords which OF COURSE makes the rangers day worse because of course ANGEL GROVE THE LAST OUTPOST is being destroyed and their megazords are needed to defeat these monsters make no mistake this was no easy feat it took EVERY ZORD they had and this only worked AFTER both of them were FOR SOME ODD REASON combined by the machine family into one severely weakening the overall power. Oh yeah I am sure their parents told them there would be days like this OK MAYBE NOT but you get the idea :P
g)Zords the zeo zords
h)morality-typical clear cut morality
i)admission-overall not so much an admission needed BUT I do admit these villains managed to glean a bit of respect in this big push. I also admit I made my ratings last time in ignorance or maybe I just plain forgot about this semi apocalypse so I admit to being harder on it than it deserved
j) Finale- finale well could it be called a finale I guess it was a semi apocalypse for the rangers
k) overall- the elements were decent but not very good compared to the previous gens 9/10
5) 5th gen (PRT)
a)opening/ending- this is the actual strength of the series but still 5/10
b) heroes- the heroes we see the end of the veterans but there was the replacement of the old guard and including the ones I always thought were shaky and coming in of rangers that believe it or not come into their own with the exception of one but then again he ALWAYS annoyed me. When the torch was passed to the new rangers WHY DIDN'T THEY REPLACE THE ONE RANGER WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED?minus the annoying one they came into their own amazingly enough and proved themselves and good inheritors to the legacy.
c) focus- oh please. like Zeo where does the power originate from the vehicles?

there was no on screen in series event you have to see what I have found is called season 4.5( the turbo movie) and 36minutes into the movie POOF for no reason other than to travel to another planet to battle a demon the power of turbo is GIVEN but still not entirely sure was Dimitria. alpha 6 oh sheesh. the focus is UNCLEAR AT BEST which is my justification for this score 2/10
Blue Senturion- the focus for this character and his powers is CLEAR he is a robot that means his powers are TECH his zord and its “megazord” mode is reminiscent of the red dragon thunder zord 10/10
d) actors/actresses- wish I could say they popped in this season but eh and the number one and frankly amazingly ONLY ONE I out and out hated was justin the 10 year old ranger sheesh. Tommy the veteran was the best of the group 5/10 the Blue Senturion-10/10 the person who voiced him made him POP loved him he will always be beloved to me.
e)technology-
a) villain tech- 1) divatox’s tech um gee a um sub/spaceship in the shape of a um looked like a dolphin to me with stupid looking fins the torpedoes typical at best a way to make the monsters grow what the hey. 3/10
b) general havock- comes in strong metallisarus –looks like someone threw together titansarus and Godzilla to make a wimpified version of mechgodzilla1 however you know what IT WORKS he came in with it and KICKED ASS his tech is great so 8/10
hero tech- hmm where do I begin with the stupidity? The turbo zords um cars WOW can we say IMITATION VEHICAL VOLTRON hell even looks similar to a certain extent in design however windchaser I liked but that is about it. THE RESCUE ZORDS UGH water cannons oh wait the pink ranger in her ambulance with a GIANT NEEDLE um something just feels wrong about a giant needle especially being launched at the monster wow does saban know how to screw up?might I add titanus and tor were better and they I considered over the top now that is sad. Oh yes what is worse than a kid that drives a car or a police car well at least they are consistent with him in the car theme a kid driving the robot the police car has turned into wow. I mean seriously a fire truck(red) police car(blue)dump truck(green)a bulldozer(yellow)ambulance(pink) are they fighting evil or doing urban renewal? Wow the hero tech falls flat on its face for the MAIN RANGERS (can someone get me the music they used for the transformation of the rescue megazord and where I can get it ok?)
the Blue Senturion- his blaster his zord his megazord BALANCED SUPER COOL 10/10
f)villains/villainesses- this applies to Divatox2(Carol Hoyt) did not like her that much then the return of Divatox1(Hilary Shepard Turner) and Elgar and the rest of the sidekicks ugh i can barely make any comments about them not even up to Rita and Zedd standards. These Villans had no entertainment value at all. General havock NOW THIS IS A VILLAIN WHY WAS HE NOT IN CHARGE? He is Divatox’s brother and “minon”?
a) the foot soliders of divatox- Piranhatrons um yeah ooooh scary fish things wow and incompetent barely up to putty standards
b) general havock- the chromites wow they are COMPETENT fighters mind you still never defeat the rangers look like multicoloured putties cool the return of the putties.amazingly 6/10
g)morality- very clear good vs evil typical
h)admission- *sighs* ahhh i hate this category but here we go when i went back and REWATCHED IT(that is what took me so long thank you very much) the rangers were not so bad EXCEPT JUSTIN,rocky picked him as successor. no one ever accused him of being billy eh? the villains/villainesses were actually better than i thought at first BUT ONLY AFTER general havok came around and we had Divatox1 returned she gave it a certain um POP to the part amazingly NO NOT HER um assets she acted the diva in divatox plus the humour at Elgar's expense well well don't know why for me Divatox1 just popped more for me. so maybe the first time i was a bit harsh that doesn't mean the series wasn't bad though but not as bad as i first thought.
J) finale-hmmm the villains/villains win but wait recalled by the new stronger evil dark specter divatox HAD THE RANGERS DEAD TO RIGHTS BEFORE DARK SPECTER RECALLED HER!! in the first four gens NO VILLAIN HAD EVER DONE THAT!!!. But this marks the TRUE break with spirits and extra dimensional mentors(yes zordon is mentioned but he is THE MENTOR). The break from earth power rangers was clean. Wow it is true what I read these episodes saved the series from cancelation. My props to the writers. The finale WOW 10/10

K)overall- i will be nice and say the elements didn't come together enough but did come together enough to deserve a 6/10
gens 6&7 to come soon.A note as I watch Dino charge I can tell you already they are overpowered.
sharewell not sure exactly when 6th and 7th gen will be coming but I HOPE and i know i have said that MONTHS AGO near a year.I do have some news for you Megaforce marks the end of this series for lack of better words. The screwed up the finale and the newer ones are CRAP. for all you saban worshipers congrats you finally got a series that has little or no Japanese influence to it and BEHOLD the creation that has been brought forth and the DESTRUCTION that has been wrought to the series.I will say this I have a HIGH suspension of disbelief but when a megazord NEAR AS BIG AS THE SPD HQ MEGAZORD starts jumping from building to building on the roofs and NO DAMAGE at all to the building below it?my suspension of disbelief is broken.THIS is what the recent series is and why I will NEVER do another analysis or at the very least it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. Turbo,OPERATION OVERDRIVE these were close calls for the franchise but it is time to bury it and this comes from someone who has been hardcore for a LOOOOONG TIME.

6) 6th gen(PRIS)
a) opening/ending oh yes this gen restored my faith in the franchise great opening and ending 10/10
b) focus- this gen broke the tradition of the spirits and stuff like that but it was GREAT. the plot was great and made some heavy changes to past villains at the end and broke the tradition of the interdimensional being directing the team in Turbo we had Dimitra same vein as Zordon
the Advent of D.E.C.A this added to the techno focus which i love that focus

c) actors/actresses some of the same actors/actresses but the replacements were great and the addition of the the person who played zane made the series even greater 10/10
d) The Zords were great and wonderful loved them 10/10

f)Villains/Villainesses- Astronema Dark Specter who was in the background behind her and Ecliptor WOW GOOD AND SMART VILLAINS AT LAST even if they always failed like the previous gens VERY ENJOYABLE VILLAINS/Villainesses/ 10/10
g) overall - great gen 10/10
7) 7th gen(PRLG)
a) opening/ending the lost galaxy opening/ending SUPERB 10/10
b) focus- the power came from the galatca beasts for the most part and the toro zord WONDERFUL no one got gyped this time. the heroes/heroines were great but
the best thing of all the first villainess that fought the rangers 10/10
c) actors/actresses loved them one and all and valerie vernon (i felt sorry for her when i heard about what happened to her) 10/10
d) The Zords - wonderful zords 10/10
e) Technology - again at a constant level wonderfully done.
f)Villains-Furio a wonderful villain i liked him even if i don't remember him appearing too much as far as I remember 9/10 scorpius UGH a big um um i guess a supposed scoripion though looked more like an octopus but his ship was great 2/10 TRAKEENA i was told she didn't exist in japan I DON'T CARE she actually started the new school villains who got in there and FOUGHT the rangers she got her hands dirty in battle thank you very much to me a beloved villainess 10/10 Treachron smart villain tried taking the through though was caught in the long run he had potential to be a BIG threat.6/10 Villmax villain hmmm not sooo much more like an honorable merc who stuck by trakeena's side though the seires from his first appearance after teaching her the way of the sword VERY BELOVED TO ME 10/10. OH WOW if there is just one villain that made the series dramatic besides the main villainess it was deviot smart cunning devious and was one of the big threats of the series ALMOST as bad and beloved as trakeena. um kegler i don't even know this one so i guess i can't comment on this villain. ok he appeared in very few episodes in america he made the commander seem extremely dumb i mean commander stanton TRUSTED a villain named CAPATIN MUTINY and was surprised when the captain enslaved the population? 4/10(this rating applies to the captain's sidekicks as well). The Psycho rangers THEIIIIRR BAAACK the one and only equals i could ever think of to the actual rangers the through the looking glass rangers 10/10 a note most of the villains seemed to be just slightly below the main Villainess which made any possible revolt at least a possibility to succeed. the villainess and villains overall 10/10
g) overall- oh yes a great gen 10/10
9) 8th gen (PRLSR)
a) opening/ending loved it great opening and great ending 10/10
b) focus- the rangers fall back to earth and i think this was the second pure tech gen the plot was strong in this gen the villans/villanesses were great (loved vypra) 10/10
c) actors/actresses i think they were all superb in this gen 10/10
d) though back to vehicles much better than turbo and loved the mega zords for one of the modern gens they were great 10/10
e) technology- once more they did a great job of keeping it at a constant level never getting out of control with it.
f)Villains- Diabolico the very first villain of this series oh wow he is great and twisted honorable to boot 10/10 Vypra -the best villainess of the series 10/10 loki and jinxer goldar and finster of this gen to a certain extent 6/10
impus/Olympius- first incarnation (baby Impus) 2/10 olympius a bit of a mama's boy in my opinion(did everything to please his mother not because he wanted to destroy the world though he could've) 8/10
g) overall- great gen what more can i say about it 10/10
I know took me long enough. As I said this is the last one I have lost my enthusiasm for it.(spoiler) the latest episode they are going INTO SPACE to find yet ANOTHER NEW ZORD!!!!How does this make any sense?yes i get the villains come from space but and one of them is "stored" in space but that doesn't mean a zord being FOUND in space makes sense.
shareAs I work to get them watched again and post you my updated analysis, I have NEWS that's right all you sabanites I have news for you. let's see where to begin oh yes first *points to the warning* now with that part out of the way....let's see hmmmmm oh wow i want to TRY to get it right this was part 2 of a two part episode called End of Extinction the series finale of the latest incarnation which was done instead of making a series off Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. in the previous episode the rangers fought a few of these http://powerrangers.wikia.com/wiki/Greenzilla interestingly enough and definitely NOT coincidentally one of them was fought in Tokyo. the results were as usual no need to dwell on what is already known. the places they HATCHED had become ANCHORS....for what??? Sledge's nastiest plan yet was it original alas sadly no but then again saban power rangers originality rarely happens but THEY RIPPED FROM DOCTOR WHO but this time it was for evil and not good Sledge was dragging the earth out of orbit just like the doctor did at the end of Journey's End except he his ship and earth well didn't get very far because the rangers had put into motion a plan to destroy the dark energem(modern day morphing coins) though as usual I am pretty sure in real life holding up a bunch of mirrors wouldn't create the effect they made it create but again power rangers right???so BOOM goes the dark energem uh oh something went wrong the released dark energy CREATED A BLACK HOLE!!! congrats rangers you destroyed the earth dam why didn't rita and zedd think of that??? they could have found a way to MAKE THE RANGERS DESTROY EARTH!!!!*laughs* moving on. WAIT EVERYONE all hope is not lost keeper is with them(details can be watched sorry) while this was happening and keeper pulls ONE LAST RABBIT out of his hat or um something like that(yeah i know no hat sue me couldn't think of better)with the dark energem destroyed and creating a black hole the other energems can access THEIR ULTIMATE POWER!!!! what is it you ask???TIME TRAVEL!!!! that's right ladies and gents TIME TRAVEL!!!! CAN WE SAY OH CRAP THIS WON'T END WELL!!!!
the energem create a time portal oooh pretty special effects where does it take them to ???65 MILLION YEARS AGO!!! we have gone BACK TO THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE SHOW!!!which was never the rangers time that was just the modern stage. that's right that scene in the opening which they have shown us over "two incarnations" of the show now they arrive just after it played out only this time it is gonna play out just a SCOOCH differently the rangers arrive prove to THIS KEEPER(hope no one has a headache yet luckily i don't for some odd reason) they have bonded to the energems *puts on the breaks hard* *screech* WAIT A SECOND!!!! uh oh!!! told you time travel and it wouldn't end well. they have stopped keeper from giving them to the dinos. WAIT!!!! hold on if the dinos are never entrusted with them then the zords won't come about right???
but Sledge has the energems??oh yeah just like the opening no he doesn't he got a red krypton crystal which is a bomb it knocks sledge back and OOPS fury the big grump kitty thing gets destroyed(they should be thankful it was fury if it was grumpy cat then it would have been laughed off and the rangers would have been in real trouble :P ) but wait i forget at what point but it was five rangers on earth to prove to keeper they had bonded with the energems THE OTHER FIVE someone among them programmed sledge's to go into the sun and everyone on board to get burned up of course AND THE ASTEROIDS he had in tow with him.
WAIT PEOPLE!!!!!it gets worse they make it back to the present THE MUSEUM is gone!!!!in it's place is a zoo. what type you ask??? A DINOSAUR ZOO....that's right!!!!his asteroid were supposed to take the place of the Dino Decimator sooooo when his ship went into the sun soooo when they came back Dinos were still around!!!! which means!!!! saban wiped out 65million years worth of history to create this um whatever it is. soooo to tell you should the show ever get back on track and I get my enthusiasm back the gens that would be covered by this will be empty because thanks to saban's time traveling THE SERIES NEVER HAPPENED congrats saban you have out done any series i have seen in sheer stupidity because you RETCONNED YOUR ENTIRE SEASON CREATING THIS um whatever it is. I obviously didn't remember the details which means there are gaps and holes in what i have told you that is because A) I don't remember everything and B) even if I did i wouldn't want to spoil EVERYTHING for you anyway credit me with having a heart. happy thanks giving and here is hoping saban figures out how to get the franchise back on track eh?

well everyone i never got back my enthusiasm because saban is well he keeps trying to recapture the past and the boards are gonna be shut down i hope the ones i did and had discussions on were fun i am sorry this one never got done please accept my apologies on that ok??
