The more while I was watching this movie the more I got bored and wanted to turn it off, until the gunfight. That was pretty amazing and realistically done, unlike Hollywood's gunfight scenes. And then I re-winded the whole movie back and started paying attention more and glad I did. A decent Aussie movie.
Didn't seem realistic to me. 8 men vs one and they can't kill him? Before Hugo Weaving started shooting, they had a good 30-45 seconds to kill Jay who was just 25 meters away. Also, why were the other men waiting in the cars instead of quickly joining in to finish this mess?
The rifle's sounds were reversed, we should see the bullet hit and then hear the shot, not the other way around.
The explanation could be that when the shot was firing the camera was at the gun and when the shot was hitting the camera was at the target. That's the way I interepreted it anyway. An artifact of filming.
