'Cum On, Feel the NoiZe' and years (SPOILER)

"Cum On, Feel the Noize" by Quiet Riot was a big hit in 1983. This movie was set in 1974.

I know that Slade's was the original and *that* song came out in the 1970s, but the version that was portrayed in the movie was Quiet Riot's.

Mistake?

Thank you!

In the closing credits....in the music portion....it states that it was indeed the Slade version that was used in the film. Since the Slade version was released in '73 & the film was set in '74.....it fits.

You'd think I'd learn to stay around for the credits.

Thank you so much!

The remake of the song sounds similar and is very 80's, in an iconic sense. I don't think it was very fitting in this movie, for that reason.

No, it actually is not the Quiet Riot version they use in the movie. Check the soundtrack listing and go listen to the Slade version.
