Disappointed

Instead of portraying an intelligent complex story about racial differences the film actually feels like a cartoonish parody of itself. It's overly biased and judgemental of white and dismisses the cruel and abusive behavior of the black characters. It should have shown how racial differences can be an individual characteristic and not a group mind hive mentality. The world is more complicated than that, give people some credit.

It needs to be talked about. The writer/director could have known of people like this but he wanted it to be satire-funny, sort of a serious stand up act about racism on campus. It's on Netflix and Amazon Prime right now, so the more people who see it, the better. How many more college Black Face Parties have to happen before they get told it's not cool, never was cool, it can stop any time now, thanks.
I liked it. I wasn't expecting a documentary. Just one guy's take on things that happen at college, it's not all serious, it's not all funny.
