Do you think change in voting tabulations helped Tatiana win?

I speculated last year when they changed how they tabulated the votes, that it might help Tatiana win this year.

Essentially, they used to tabulate votes by taking votes for first second third etc and adding them by weighting the various votes, i.e. first place votes counts more than a second place vote, but in the aggregate, getting a lot of second place votes could overcome not getting the most first place votes.

However, now they just tabulate the first place votes only and whoever gets the most first place votes wins.

I think so. It looks like that may be why Gold Derby retabulated and got less ridiculous odds for TM. The old system had TM in last place, the new tied for third. Many of the Gold Derby "experts" put her dead last. And the retabulation more accurately predicted the actual Emmy voting, likely for the same reason. However, GD voting was about likely winners, not deserving winners.
