Interesting... You can even get typecast as someone who plays multiple characters. I would have thought that would be almost impossible :-).

Christopher Plummer is 86, Canadian, and still working. I don't know that they could get him though. I also thought about Donald Sutherland for the role, he's 81. I think he owes it to Tatiana since his son botched her name at the Emmys.

shareI agree with this sentiment, but the tone in the article suggests the opposite, that the preference is to cast less well known Canadian actors.

One of the appeals of the show is the completely unknown actors/actresses. A famous face would ruin it IMO.
