Anyone else getting a Fincher vibe?

I just finished watching season 1 and I love it. The stories, the acting, the cinematography, atmosphere, soundtrack and pacing are all excellent.

What I want to know is if the creators of the show were influenced by David Fincher? (Fight Club, Gone Girl, Social Network).

It seems like the camerawork tries to mimic Finchers slow camera pans but steady and uninterupted movement to build tension and shaky, quick cutted action to sell chaos. The colour schemes and use of lightning look eerily similar to shots constructed in Fincher movies. The soundtrack uses quite a bit of electronic beats and sounds similar to nine inch nails' trent reznor and atticus ross. Even the violence uses quite a bit of blood in the shootings and stabbings, but the way they are directed reminds me of a Fincher movie.

The final scene of Alison's husband running on the street in the snow even reminds me of the Social Network. While every police investigation scene reminds me of Gone Girl. Its a style I have grown to love but I wanna know if it was unintentional or an inspiration?

I think they may share influence but the co-creators have been "in the biz" long enough that I sincerely doubt that they take their nods from anyone outside their own imaginations.
