Just Binged, Great Show; Most Annoying Trope Though!

Amazing show. So fun to binge and Tatiana is the freaking KING!!!!!!

But the one trope that's happened throughout the show that makes me rip my hair out...

"Okay what's going on"

"I can't tell you"

AHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I hate this so much. It's happened so much throughout this show and honestly, there hasn't been enough moments when telling someone has backfired. More innocents should've died to re-enforce the idea that 'knowing is danger'.

Not telling, but the Gracie leak caused real problems.

Clone Club has trusted the wrong people a couple of times as well...Siobhan got sold out by the Birdwatchers, and Evie Cho double-crossed Sarah and Cosima in episode 406. In the latter case, for instance, the problem was that too many people knew where Kendall was.

but it gets really out of control sometimes. like the length it took to tell the father was ridiculous.... not telling Felix's sister....not telling Art... not telling Kasima's girlfriend...

it's those moments that make me want to cry.

Im not saying you need unveil the ENTIRE thing, but like, after someone sees three of a clone, i think it's fair to say it's time to let the cat out of the bag.

The problem with Felix's bio sister Adele was, in spite of her alcoholism, she was a straight arrow who would not understand Clone Club's shady activities. Art has been told quite a lot, but Angie was not trusted for the same reason as Adele. I can't really explain why Shay was not told...we never got to know her very well. Mostly, she got blamed for a lot of stuff Gracie did.

but your reasoning and fear for Adele hasn't been addressed this whole time. We've yet to see a character 'not understand' or 'not believe' or 'go to the authorities' or whatever. This may have been a good chance to actually to that for once.

Art yes, he's now involved, but the first two seasons were rough, especially when at that time, we hadn't seen any consequences of 'telling the authorities'.

And that doesn't explain Shay and my biggest gripe, Kyra's father.

"Go to the authorities"? Evie Cho used Donnie and Allson's shady drug dealing to harass them through the cops, some dirty. Again, not telling, but the fact that the suburban couple couldn't keep the drug info secret got them in trouble.

So again, Clone Club kept info from Gracie, but she found another way to take advantage of the generosity of Siobhan and Sarah by spying. Telling Gracie would have backfired faster.

You seem to want another leak, but Clone Club has been mostly loyal and Sarah has been careful about who has been admitted and whom she has told what.
