There are no good choices. It is entirely grey, and gray morality. All can be condoned in the situation, and all can be questioned. No matter what you do, you cannot control the outcome. You spare the soldier, his buddies set up an ambush for you, after you go after him. You try to save Gould, he dies anyway. You try to free the two men, being held where you are supposed to be the judge, the snipers will pick them off before they get five feet. War is hell.
