Khalistan Zindabad!!!

India should be ashamed... and Sikhs must demand a seperate state before another corrupt, mad, despot like Indira Gandhi starts killing innocent people for votes.

reply

Who is Punjab going to trade with once they are seperate?

Pakistan? That's funny.

Punjab would have to trade directly with India for a vast majority of goods and this will be exploited by Pakistan and maybe China as well. Have you considered the economic factors involved in this or are you simply just making things up as you go along because somebody told you somebody did something bad to somebody else.

Maanas Ki Jaat Sabhai Ekai Pehchanbo

Strange how that is forgotten so quickly isn't it. Try curing the poverty instead of making money. India would directly take advantage of Punjab over night and make more money from it. These ideas and truths are lost but they are a political and economic reality.

You're lucky India doesn't do this because they are lenient and considerate to the humans and not some ridiculously stupid idea for a separate state that will leave Punjab to the wolves.

Khalistan would trade with every other country in the world and not be taken advantage of and expolited by India as it has been since independence. The Punjab has been the bread basket of India, feeding the rest of the country - at least as a separate nation they will be able to charge fair prices for a profit, instead of forcing punjabi farmers into poverty and suicide. The Punjab used to be the most prosperous state in India - and under Sikh rule it will return back to it's former glory.

More important of all, millions of Sikhs will not have to worry about being harassed, abused and murdered by the corrupt and evil Indian government. BTW - have you ever been to India? It's nothing but one big backward sh*thole.

There are plenty of pro-Khalistan websites which have given many cases of why the Sikhs should have a homeland - read them and educate yourself.

Never forget 1984 and Screw India!!!!

Punjab is not the "bread basket" of India. You really do need to look up recent economic perspectives on this. It is somewhere in the middle and that is based upon the trade it has with other states, especially the water that comes from Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand. If Punjab separates, for lack of a better word, both India and Pakistan, who they will have to negotiate trade routes with for the rest of the world - will rip them to pieces...

Do you know what this will then lead towards? It will lead towards mass emigration, as has already happened in Punjab since the water table has sank and other agricultural problems occurred due to the land occupation of mainly NRIs and also non-Punjabis. That is hilarious and ridiculous at the same time because it is these very people who make a big deal out of their needing to be a Khalistan but laughably, they are the ones without the economic nous to understand Punjabi is now reliant on the rest of India for sustenance.

Punjabi farmers are not commiting suicide because of fair profits. Who tells you this absolute garbage? The water table in India is sinking due to the activity of non-resident punjabis and also multi-national corporations in India who are ripping water out of the state. This will nto change. If the farmers (most of whom can't get water now) can't farm because of the water table they commit suicide. It's laughable you think you can blame everything on outsiders and the good old Punjabi farmer is affected by the evil Indian> You really do need to read up on these things.

Now, you say India is one backward *beep* but then you say India harrasses Punjabis but you want Punjab to have it's own country?

You will be ripped to shreds as your own state.

I do feel I am fully educated on the matter and you have offered nothing but laughable reasons and also some bizarre romantic nonsense about Punjab surviving. The first thing neighbouring countries of a land locked country with only two neighbours will do is send it into poverty and take advantage of it. That's politics and so will the rest of the world. No nation would allow it. This isn't evil or nasty, it's merely because that's how politics works in state relationships.

The first person to leave will be you. You know why? You think India is a *beep* just wait and see Punjab once it's a country.

Oh and also, the reason some people wanted a country in the 1980s was fuelled by arms trading with Afghanistan and Pakistan during the Afghan/Russian war. It has nothing to do with anything else. The religious idea is made up for people with too much time on their hands.

Arms were available cheap from Pakistan, some people in Punjab started buying them and the need for conflict was raised by arms traders in Kashmir and Pakistan. Basically (check your education) Pakistan and Kashmir used some Sikhs as puppets.

It seems it is the same to this day as well, isn't it.

Joey you really need to take a deep breath and step back a bit mate. All this hate, frustration and falsehood cannot be aiding your health.

Agreed its not the best made film in the world but that's not really your problem with it.

The movie is a gateway. A flicker of the truth at last. No ranting or raving will now prevent the propogation of really what occurred at that time.

Inviting people to 'avoid it like the plague' seems to be an act of desperation. Similar to the one the Government of India launched by banning it one day before its release.

Truth wil always out in the end.

Funny, act of desperation. Indicating a film made in a Bollywood fashion is fake is an act of desperation. You're projecting, I am sure you're aware of that. If you're not then, WOW... the steps into territory of lost hope and no hope.

Well done on not replying to my post and only the top one so that I don't get an alert that someone replies to my post. Well done indeed.

The film does need to be avoided like the plague because it is terrible and a huge lie. I do encourage people to read books and read history and then make their own mind up. Obviously, that side of the situation you appear to have missed, ignored and focussed on inaccurate assumptions of falsehood and hate.

Do you really want to talk about hate? Do you really want to talk about falsehood? Do you really want to talk about the flickers of truth that exist? These are serious questions considering you talk about ranting and raving when in fact this film is nothing more than ranting and raving. The repercussions to the activities of the 1980s is ranting and raving. The activity and violence and aggression by pockets of the Sikh community is nothing more than ranting and raving.

I am sure you would agree, considering you are so interested and caring about people's health, this doesn't help the health of the Sikhs who continue to perpetuate this aggressive and violence manufacture of history and it definitely doesn't bode well to pass these falsehoods onto their children.

So... do you not agree, for an Indian community so interested in education, they should tell their children to avoid using Bollywoodised films for "history lessons" and "truth" and read books instead about how so many people were killed and slaughtered during the 80s for the sake of creating a nation?

I am merely giving you an opportunity to learn about the economic and political situation of the time, that is, if you believe in the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and what peace they wanted... of course, the truth will always out in the end, as I have already shown you but then again, some people don't want the truth. A fabrication of hate so they have someone to blame for the life is all that is needed, isn't it.

If you want people to learn about history from films, that's fine. I would like them to read well investigated and researched books. Boy, does that really will the truth out in the end.

That is, if you believe in the truth, as the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji encourages it. :o)

Happy Reading.
