So anyone know when it comes back on the air?

So anyone know when it comes back on the air? Used to be on Wednesday nights at 9pm est. I'm missing my weekly old toys fix from this show. I checked on the travel channel website and I don't see anything there about a date either.

Don't waste your time waiting. youtube search: vintage toy reviews. The people there are 10x more knowledgable, 10x less annoying and actually focus on what matters... nostalgia value not monetary value.

I collect toys, but I find most "toy reviews" on YouTube to be quite boring home-made videos.

Toy Hunter is a bright, fun and lively TV show. Jordan's no different to the nostalgia collectors - as if any collector doesn't want to make money buying and trading? EVERY collector buys and sells their way somewhat, toward getting the collection they ultimately wanted.

And what's more, nobody's forcing anyone to sell their stuff - if some collector sells something to Jordan for $500 and he resells it for $800 by spruiking it at toy fair or something, you can bet that despite their protestations, the seller paid way less and made a profit too. Collectors aren't stupid.

"I collect toys, but I find most "toy reviews" on YouTube to be quite boring home-made videos."

Production quality issues aside, the overwhelming majority of these people posting these home made videos did so for no compensation what so ever - in fact, I would suggest many of them might have even done so out of their own expense. Why...? Because they love toys, not money. Can your pal Jordan say the same...? Didn't think so.

"as if any collector doesn't want to make money buying and trading?"

Not a single collector I know sells their valued toys for profit. Trades? Hell, we all trade. But if you really think that we are all money grubbing whores like Jordan, you really don't know much about the art of toy collecting. Instead, you, like Jordan, are a toy "speculator".

"And what's more, nobody's forcing anyone to sell their stuff"

Go back & watch the 1st episode; the hour long one (the REAL beat down). Watch how Jordan keeps brow beating that guy who doesn't want to sell him the MASK toy that he designed. Or that time he was in that warehouse, and the guy didn't want to sell anything until he had a chance to go through it. Yeah, Jordan isn't "making" them sell these items, but he is behaving like a little prissy brat because they wouldn't. He's a bully.

Mongo's reply is the best. Check YouTube and blogs on your Google search for people who actually love vintage toys, and not the money vintage toys can get you. I guarantee you that you will easily have 10x more fun watching some one review a vintage toy, hearing the passion in their voice, than you will watching the weasel Hembrough wring his hands together with dollar signs in his eyes.

My son & I dig this show..despite it looking more "scripted" then some situations would be in real life! I'm sure without the cameras there he'd be robbing these people blind 50% of the time!

Sure, you can get good vids on YT, but its not a TERRIBLE way to kill 20+ minutes (w/o commercials), so I look forward to its return...hopefully it hasn't been cancelled.
