"I collect toys, but I find most "toy reviews" on YouTube to be quite boring home-made videos."
Production quality issues aside, the overwhelming majority of these people posting these home made videos did so for no compensation what so ever - in fact, I would suggest many of them might have even done so out of their own expense. Why...? Because they love toys, not money. Can your pal Jordan say the same...? Didn't think so.
"as if any collector doesn't want to make money buying and trading?"
Not a single collector I know sells their valued toys for profit. Trades? Hell, we all trade. But if you really think that we are all money grubbing whores like Jordan, you really don't know much about the art of toy collecting. Instead, you, like Jordan, are a toy "speculator".
"And what's more, nobody's forcing anyone to sell their stuff"
Go back & watch the 1st episode; the hour long one (the REAL beat down). Watch how Jordan keeps brow beating that guy who doesn't want to sell him the MASK toy that he designed. Or that time he was in that warehouse, and the guy didn't want to sell anything until he had a chance to go through it. Yeah, Jordan isn't "making" them sell these items, but he is behaving like a little prissy brat because they wouldn't. He's a bully.
