Jeff Ross unaired joke..

Anyone else think that its a bit hypocritical for them to think the joke was no appropriate to air? The joke itself did not make fun of the shooting - it made fun of Seth Green. And they had Joe PA jokes, Sandusky and showering with boys jokes, John Ritter's death, rape, child molestation and incest, 9/11 joke (which I cannot believe simply because how anal America is about terrorism. Yet they felt THAT was too controversial to air? I dont think they should be drawing lines because how can they really decide which crosses over?

What was the joke? I know it was about the theater shooting, but i was wondering if anyone knew what he actually said

Once Ross took to the podium, he turned to red-haired fellow roaster Seth Green. “Congratulations,” Ross said to Green. “This is actually a really big night for you. You haven’t gotten this much attention since you shot all those people in Aurora.”

The joke was met with a resounding ohhhhh from the audience, but Ross wasn’t finished. “I’m kidding!” he said. “You’re not like James Holmes. At least he’s doing something in a movie theater that people remember.”

They probably would have deleted the Sandusky/Paterno jokes had Ross not be dressed up as Paterno, which made it hard to.

That's actually quite an astute observation. By dressing up as the subject of his "too-soon" jokes, he makes it impossible for CC to cut most of them without cutting his appearance entirely... Which roast fans would never tolerate.

+1 genius points to Jeff Ross.
