I know they probably couldn't have the Tyson part, but it would be fun to see Little Mac get in the ring with the likes of King Hippo, Bald Bull and Soda Popinski. Who would play him? Michael Cera? Jessie Eisenberg? Elija Wood?

Ahhh...the arcade version was classic! I don't think they had the announcer in the Nintendo adaption. Knock em out!

Punch-Out was around before Tyson and has a great cast of characters. It could be a good picture.

Agreed, but they would have to make Mac bigger. They couldn't have him jumping every time he went for a head shot.

I don't see why they cant have Tyson, its been a long time since the issue that got him in trouble with the game originally..and while older now he could still convincingly kick the crap out of Little Mac.

A wild, thrilling, and perhaps a fairly well-constructed movie based on the game... would be kinda surreal and fun to see. Bring it on

No thanks, we don't need more pugilism movies. I still can't see what people love about Rocky, tried to sit through the first one and hated it. I don't know why these stupid athletes want to punch each other so that their brains turn to mush, anyway. They must be RETARDED.
