My dvr didn't pick up the result which they teased past the 0:00 hour point into the next program window.

Very frustrating, but I don't really care after this. They could get the blasted thing to play in the allotted hour, and also could put the result sooner than the last 10 seconds of the program. Where are the results and reactions if they do what they did editing the thing this way anyways.

Odd, my dvr didn't cut it off.

The Blecha Brothers won. With the amount of screen time they had in the episode I thought they must have.

Whenever possible, when I set a show, either as just one episode or a series, to record on my HD DVR, I always set the recording to start recording one minute before and one minute after, unless it is a live sports game i.e. the Portland Timbers or the Portland Trail Blazers in which case i set for one minute before and two hours after (sometimes less if other scheduling conflicts occur); two hours after is the most my HD DVR will allow. i do this just in case the show starts early and/or ends later; the sports games almost aways end after the HD DVR says it will end, that is why I set for two hours later.

I totally agree with you. I just hate that they have a habit of messing up some timelines on TW cable's schedules. I don't know if it is the Discovery Channel, Tv Guide who seems to distribute the timelines, or TW messing up the distribution on their system.

the DVR to the analog channels can skew by 30 seconds, and pretty soon if you have other issues in your digital system you got the 2 minutes or more. Sloppy at best. Crappy quality control is what it probably is.

If you have the TW motorola DVR have you noticed that the timelines now barely are complete 6 days out?

The recording is buggy on mine. I can't set series recordings for some series. if for example you have TW and find the Hallmark Movie channel and find the two Perry Mason series mid-day (I assume there is one feed, so it may not be 12pm and 1pm as it is for me). Try setting a series recording, you get no setting or recording.

that is just one of a lot of 'series' which i can't set a recording for.

Also if one sets a series on a single channel such as PBS for this old house, you have to figure out how to set one on every channel which can carry "this old house". Currently there are 4 PBS channels, and DIY and HG who also have episodes I'd like to all have caught.

anyway, rant over, off topic, thanks for your reply. Just because I do it, I'm glad you added it for others who might read this thread.
