Does this sequel ignore Seed of Chucky?

It seems like the events in Seed doesn't add up to the events in this film. If so, good riddance. Seed was the biggest embarrassment to the franchise.

How could it? Tiffany would still be a burned up doll and not in a human body if it ignored Seed.

Why do people so frequently get told to read the book on a movie database?

Chucky mentions the Tillys so Seed of Chucky isn't ignored at all. All films happened. Don Mancini may understand the hatred fro Seed, but he isn't the type to rewrite or remove things from his series. So good for him.
