Couple of questions from my side:

1. Why did they shoot Kate in the end? (I know this has been asked before but there has been no definitive answer to this one, other than 'The cop wanted to get rid of her since she was 'in' on their conspiracy. Any other explanations?)

2. The video that Eric kept watching over and over... of Sebastian getting scratched...It looked like Talan did not scratch, it was someone else! Looked like one of the guards to me who was standing at the very back during the commotion and had physical features similar to Talan (Tall, large hands, beard etc). Anything there that all of us missed?

She got shot definitely to end the conspiracy investigation by her team.

He didn't get scratched, he got bit. You could see several times when he rewound the footage, he got bitten.

...so unless he's the worst sniper in the world...

He was definitely NOT the worst sniper....rather a very god one. She was shot directly through the heart.

That would have killed her! She was shot in the abdomen. :)

It was mentioned at the end that Kate was recovering well. Maybe she's a wer now...?

Yeah I wondered if Gavin bit her (off-screen obv) and that's why she was recovering from the gunshot wound. Gavin is def the one killing people, Talon was dead. Gavin wanted folks to think Talon was still alive to provide an alibi for himself. The whole dirty cop subplot just didn't do it for me, and though I know it set everything else in motion, I think they could have come up with something better to start the events of the movie... I think this must have been the weakest role I have ever seen Sebastian Roche play...sad cuz I usually like him. Interesting concept, I just wish they'd done things a bit differently..
