No Tripod

Be forewarned: This entire film is shot with handheld shaky cam, except for the closed circuit monitor footage. Also be ready for cuts every few seconds, except for the action scenes, when it's about every second.

Had i read your post before seeing the movie i probably would have not watched it. Lucky i did see it because it is a decent horror movie with an unexpected ending.
6/10 and i would have given it 7/10 if there was no "shaky cam".

reply

I tried to watch it but the shaky camera gave me motion sickness.

@Blue_Afternoon.....Do merry-go-rounds make you vomit like a banshee? This found-footage
film is actually one of those uber-rare ones that don't employ unreasonably shaky shaky-cam.

reply

I get sea sick on an air bed in a pool.
I've never seen a banshee vomit
The camera was shaky enough. Thank you.

You're not expected to be on a merry-go-round for 90 minutes. But you are expected to watch a film for around 90 minutes (on average). If you were on a merry-go-round for 90 minutes, I wouldn't be surprised if you vomit like a banshee.

reply

problem is it isn't found footage, it's just sloppy camera work at best to create tension which it didn't, other than that it wasn't a bad film

reply

Yeah, normally I can't watch found footage, and this isn't found footage, but the cam is shaky. Luckily it wasn't that bad for me, it didn't trigger my motion sickness at all.
Awesome movie, well acted, moved along at a great pace, way better than I expected.
Definitely worth a watch.

reply

Great movie, sorry but didn't notice what you are rambling about...

reply

There are far worse movies than this for shaky camera work. Quit whining.

reply

Filled with shaky cam and not even found footage...what an awful production choice. The rapid editing certainly didn't help either.
