I'd bet on Linux or something Linux-like, cause it's free, so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle for the producers to put in there, as opposed to some Apple product running MacOS. Anyway, it's a goof, even if a little one, 'cause I don't think most Americans would even know what Linux is, especially a meathead like Jon.

Actually, you can get softwares on Windows that allow you to create such toolbars in few clicks. Do a search for such softwares for Windows.

The startup sound, the Dock bar on the lower screen side, the screen saver... straight from OSX.
The laptop itself looked like an oldish MacBook Pro - of course with the apple logo hidden.
